I'm an embedded systems engineer and dad during the day. At night, I hack DSP and compilers. Hence my interest in some of the development efforts by Orastron. I lack an academic background in DSP, other than a BS degree in EE. So some of my ambitions might be a little amusing.

A sr.ht user, lovely. I'll definitely give a look at your project!
Thanks for joining! :)

Hey, happy to see your here!

I hope that we can improve Ciaramella, both linguistically and technology-wise, and work on related tools together. Perhaps ode2dsp might get an alternative output target once Ciaramella has standard math functions. ;-)

Hi @kdsch welcome !

I was not aware of this https://git.sr.ht/~kdsch/ode2dsp project and especially the Faust generation part. I would be happy to discuss it more (for instance I cloned the repo but could not find the nonlinear-svf.dsp file which is imported in example.dsp), assuming this can be discussed on this forum? OK for you @stefano ? Otherwise we can always move Faust related discussions on Faust specific channels: https://faust.grame.fr/community/help/)

Absolutely no problem, I'm really happy about it.  ;)

I only kindly ask you to start a new thread in the Miscellaneous section for this purpose, as it doesn't belong here.

I just noticed that it is you: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31538686

I randomly discovered it some time ago and never remembered to reply. I'm very sorry for that.

But now we have this place! Are you still interested in discussing those points? We can make a thread/topic
